Waking Life

Once in a while something amazing comes along and just blows your mind apart then brings it back together in a beautifully enhanced way. This film changed my Life and is responsible for so much of who I am and what I do today. And I don't even say this lightly. I cannot even describe how amazing this film is whether you're describing the animation or the literary content. I found a link to watch it for free online (below) but the quality kinda sucks so if you wanna get the most out of it, get it on dvd and watch it in a dark room. If you are a thinker or an appreciator of beautiful things please watch. And have an open mind I guess. WATCH ONLINE

This is a beat called Jazzin, again-I made a while back. People really tend to like this one...Im especially in love with the chorus. Anyway, Im posting it because if you check out the video below around like 2:30, you will witness the amazing Sharisse singing the song she wrote to the beat. You know how you meet those people that just have it and are going places? This girl is sooo talented. I wish we had the time to actually record the song but shit happens I guess-There's always the future!!

Wow...4am and Im about to sleep...surprising These are photos i took of Syracuse literally like 30 minutes before I left for good. I was being a little emotional lol... What does this have to do with me sleeping you ask? Interesting Kanye Remixes

I'm not even gonna get into my dissapointment with Kanye's Recent stuff. Don't get me wrong, 808s and graduation are good albums...but its just not up to par with his older stuff. Anyway, these remixes make the songs actually a lot more interesting (at least to me) than they are when he sings them (Maybe its just that I just get tired after hearing them on the radio hundreds of times) Anyway enjoy-these are dope! Self portrait 1

The painting is actually kind of Large- Lifesize and It was such a pain in the ass to do...i had study pictures to go off of but for some reason it wasn't working out so I decided to just paint it from real life... what a mistake...it took ages to do and was really frustrating cause i had to keep setting myself up in the mirror, everything kept moving around, and I couldn't paint without the lights on but I can couldnt see it the way i wanted with the lights on. This is a beat I made the last time I was Back Home...which seems like Ages Away now. It was actually one of the ones i spent least time on, but its like it perfectly mimics my feelings about something at the time which were...ummm...complicated. The Watson Series

These are Four Larger Pieces I did for that same Class I was talking about earlier. I literally pulled all nighters to finish each one and I know nobody will have noticed this...but I always made some kind of reference to that on facebook lol.

Anyway, it's called the Watson series because of my lovely subjects who endured my pestering and let me manipulate them into the strangest circumstances. Fellow RAs in Watson, but more importantly some of the best friends I made in school, but most importantly- future business partners. Thank you guys so much, seriously- i wouldv been screwed without you.

Music To My Eyes 1

I've recently been getting waaay too into stop motion Animation for my own good. I am seriously obsessed with it...there's just something about it that gets to my head. Maybe the sheer number of drawings that have to made to make even 2 seconds of footage. 

Anyway, this piece by Yanni Kronenberg is particularly beautiful because it's in chalk. You would never guess but that makes it 100 times cooler.
